Although formation of the OLID would not cause or contribute to long range <br />environmental pollution, establishment of the OLID is still not necessary for the reasons <br />set forth above and, therefore, the statutory criteria for establishment for the OLID has <br />not been met. <br />DECISION <br />Therefore, the City Council of the City of Elk River denies the petition for the establishment <br />of the proposed Orono Lake Improvement District, based on the findings of fact set forth <br />above. <br />Passed and adopted this 171h day of June 2019. <br />John J.
