Evans Park, Inc. DBA Guardian Angels by the Lake (GABTL) Description of project narrative for two stall garage Given the increased need for transportation services for the seniors we serve and in an effort to keep our buses in good condition, we find it valuable and necessary to build a two stall garage for the two 2 HC accessible busses we currently own and operate. Bus services usually run from 7:30 AM -4:00 PM M -F with other occasional hours to accommodate special needs or events such as Christmas light tours, an occasional Saturday picnics, etc. Our bus service is primarily run by one lead DOT certified driver and may be supplemented with other DOT certified drivers as needed. The proposed 30 X 30 garage will be built on a floating slab on grade, wood framed, vinyl siding (same as GABTL siding). The height to the base of the roof line will be —16 feet to accommodate 14' high garage doors the height of the busses (min 10' clearance). The proposed garage will be located in a remote part of the current parking lot, partially nestled into a current berm (Please see attached picture). The current GABTL building will serve as a backdrop for this garage which will be built of similar materials used at GABTL so as to blend in with the community. The current placement of this garage on our current parking lot will diminish our current parking spaces by three, which are not used except when we have our summer family picnic each year. There is no proposed screening, outdoor storage or signage with this plan. Landscaping around the building will consist of leveled, seeded turf, cut and maintained as per or regular lawn maintenance protocol. We are proposing to draw electric off of the electric supply across the street as noted on the utility plan.
