It is the intent of the Contract Documents to cover all aspects of the Project. Should there be some item or <br /> items not shown on the Drawings or not described in these Specifications which are required for the Work, <br /> those items and the furnishing of all labor, materials,and equipment shall be considered incidental to the <br /> Work and no additional compensation will be provided. <br /> D. The Work includes the furnishing of all labor,equipment,tools, machinery, materials,and other items <br /> required for the construction of a complete project as specified. Equipment furnished shall be in safe <br /> operating condition and of adequate size,capacity,and condition for the performance of the Work. <br /> Contractor shall obtain all measurements necessary for the Work and shall be responsible for establishing <br /> all dimensions, levels,and layout of the Work. <br /> E. Contractor shall be solely responsible for the coordination of its activities with regard to the Project and the <br /> activities of Subcontractors and Owner. <br /> F. The work consists of the following Bid Items. The work for each Bid Item shall include, but not be limited <br /> to,work tasks described in this section. These descriptions provide a general outline and location of the <br /> work and do not describe every component of the work necessary to complete the project and itemized bid <br /> items. Detailed requirements are provided in the associated specification section and construction <br /> Drawings. <br /> G. Bid items beginning with an "A"are associated with the public-side improvements of the project, beginning <br /> at Station 10+40 through Lift Station 1 at Station 197+39. These bid items are described as follows: <br /> 1. Bid Item A-1: Construction Surveying <br /> (a) This item pertains to the establishment of all reference points(construction stakes) necessary to <br /> construct the work between Station 10+40 and 198+75, in accordance with the plans and these <br /> specifications. <br /> (b) Reference specification Section 01720—Field Engineering <br /> 2.
