DBA <br />Guardian Angels by the Lake (GABTL) <br />Description of project narrative for two stall garage <br />Rev 5.28. 19 <br />Given the increased need for transportation services for the seniors we serve and <br />in an effort to keep our bus in good condition, we find it valuable and necessary <br />to build a single stall garage for our HC accessible bus that we currently own and <br />operate. <br />Bus services usually run from 7:30 AM -4:00 PM M -F with other occasional hours <br />to accommodate special needs or events such as Christmas light tours, an <br />occasional Saturday picnics, etc. <br />Our bus service is primarily run by one lead DOT certified driver and may be <br />supplemented with other DOT certified drivers as needed. <br />The proposed 16 X 30 garage will be built on a floating slab on grade, wood <br />framed, vinyl siding (same as GABTL siding). The height to the base of the roof line <br />will be —16 feet to accommodate 14'high garage doors re; the height of the bus. <br />The proposed garage will be located in a remote part of the current parking lot <br />and next to a current storage facility, screened from view from the residential <br />homes to the west. This garage which will be built of similar materials used at <br />GABTL so as to blend in with the community. <br />There is no proposed screening, outdoor storage or signage with this plan. <br />Landscaping around the building will consist of leveled, seeded turf, cut and <br />maintained as per or regular lawn maintenance protocol. <br />We are proposing to draw electric off of the current meter located on the East <br />side of the current storage facility. <br />
