Three (3) bids were received from <br /> the following companies listed below from lowest to highest total bid: <br /> Corporation Total Bid <br /> Municipal Builders, Inc. $ 198,017.00 <br /> A & M Construction, Inc. $ 249,800.00 <br /> Maertens-Brenny Construction $ 265,300.00 <br /> Based on the bids received, Municipal Builders, Inc. is the low bidder. The low bid <br /> received appears to be competitive and the bids have been reviewed for errors and/or <br /> omissions. Municipal Builders, Inc. has completed projects for Elk River Municipal <br /> Utilities in the past and that experience with them reflects that they are a responsive and <br /> responsible bidder. We have also spoken with their staff and confirmed that they <br /> understand the project requirements. <br /> We would recommend that the project be awarded to the low bidder, Municipal Builders, <br /> Inc. in the amount of $198,017.00.
