Lake Orono Improvement Association Orono Lake Improvement District Application Long-term Monitoring of OLID programs and projects will be the responsibility of the OLID, in close collaboration with the City of Elk River, MN DNR, MPCA, Lake Orono Improvement Association, Sherburne SWCD and Sherburne County Coalition of Lakes. Financial and Proposed Budget Sample Initial Budget: 2019 – 2020 Estimated Project Description Budget Establish a program to remove a minimum of 130,000 cubic yards of sediment to return Lake Orono to its historic baseline Lake Orono depth (an average of 5’ or greater).
