Open Forum- None <br /> <br />7.1 Eagle Scout Presentation <br /> <br />Gregory Headley presented his installation of a bike station and bench at Hillside Park sharing <br />that the project donations came from family, friends, and Ramsey Bicycle. <br /> <br />8. Action Items - None <br /> <br />9.1 Flag pole at Rivers Edge Commons Park <br /> <br /> Mr. Hecker shared his staff report. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Holmgren asked if there was an area at the bottom of park that wouldn’t <br />hamper the view of looking out over the river. <br /> <br /> Mr. Hecker stated no, as for the scenic views but there could be other areas. <br /> <br />Commissioner Holmgren asked if the American Legion would help pay for the project. <br /> <br /> Mr. Hecker said they would provide the flag. <br /> <br />Mr. Hecker reminded the commission that Orono Park had a flag and it was removed for <br />many reasons. <br /> <br />Chair Anderson does not have a strong desire to have a flag pole at this park and would want <br />to have someone else to do fundraising for the cost of the project. <br /> <br />Commissioner Soltvedt stated to wait to install the flag pole this first year and to see how <br />event goes at that location. <br /> <br />9.2 Deer Survey <br /> <br />Mr. Hecker shared report. <br /> <br />Chair Anderson stated that funding for a deer population count should be done when <br />appropriate and planned ahead of time so it is in the budget. <br /> <br />Commissioner Soltvedt stated that with the information from Mr. Becklan we know the
