Commissioner
Anderson suggested that parking be restricted to no more than 24-48 hours.

Mr. Specht stated that he would be agreeable to 24-48 hours. He explained that sometimes a
bus will come in at 10:00 p.m. or later. He stated that generally someone is at the garage
seven days a week. Commissioner Offerman asked how many buses the building will hold.
Mr. Specht stated that the building could hold seven buses. Mr. Harlicker asked how many
buses might be parked overnight. Mr. Specht stated that one, or possibly two buses could
potentially need to be left outside overnight.

Ms. McPherson suggested that Condition #1 be amended to add the language, "except for
occasional overnight parking". She noted that Mr. Specht has a crew of night people, so the
buses would be cleaned and parked inside in a relatively short period of time. She stated that
the intent is that there is no long-term outdoor parking.

Commissioner Offerman asked what the current use is for the property. Rich Duggan,
previous owner of the building, stated that the building was used for light manufacturing,
but that the building has been sold and is currently empty.

There being no further public comment, Chair Ropp closed the public hearing.

MOTION BY COMMISSIONER ANDERSON AND SECONDED BY
COMMISSIONER OFFERMAN TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE
REQUEST BY PETER SPECHT FORA CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO
ALLOW BUS STORAGE IN THE 11 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONING DISTRICT,
CASE NO.
