It was used because of the <br />cities high ammonia levels. By implementing the process of osmosis, they were able to <br />blend the water to meet State standards. <br />Proliferation of Antibiotic Resistance: <br />Ground and surface water have been contaminated with antibiotics, which will end up <br />leeching into well water. It can start off by citizens flushing their antibiotics and it <br />getting into the river, thus someone down stream using the river water for drinking water. <br />Conference students were questioning presenters about the magnitude of risk for wells. <br />Is there enough contaminates to be cancer causing? <br />Climate Change — Climatologist Perspective: <br />The South Pole ozone is healing itself. Warmer winters will be harder on us for insects <br />and for ice cap melting. How much is human induced? How much is a natural cycle of <br />the earth?
