No one utilized the downtown designated parking spot
on King Avenue. The largest hurdle for food trucks were the insurance requirements. After review and
consultation with our insurance experts, staff is recommending a change in the insurance requirements in
order to ease this restriction.

There were no citations issued or complaints filed with the police department for violating this ordinance.

Financial Impact
N/A

Attachments
 Draft Ordinance

The Elk River Vision
A welcoming community with revolutionary and spirited resourcefulness, exceptional
service, and community engagement that encourages and inspires prosperity
