Board of Adjustments Minutes Page 2 <br />November 27, 2018 <br />----------------------------- <br />Moved by Commissioner Larson-Vito and seconded by Commissioner <br />Rydberg to approve the variance request by Gerald S. Sizer for a two (2) <br />accessory structures variance for the following reasons: <br /> <br />1. The general purpose and intent of the ordinance is met. <br />2. The property has a land use of residential and the use is consistent <br /> with the comprehensive plan. <br />3. The proposed use is reasonable and is permitted in the zoning <br /> ordinance. <br />4. The plight of the petitioner is due to circumstances unique to the <br /> property not a consequence of the petitioners own action or inaction. <br />5. The variance will not alter the essential character of the locality. <br /> <br />and with the following condition: <br />1. The two properties (22362 & 22300 Jarvis St.) shall be combined prior <br /> to the variance being recorded with Sherburne County. <br /> <br />Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Mr. Leeseberg stated formal appeals to the Board of Adjustments’ approval of the <br />variance need to be in writing and filed at city hall within the next 10 days. If no <br />appeal is made, the variance will be granted. <br /> <br />6.
