Staff asked the Commission to consider a <br />recommendation to the City Council to identify the Orono Athletic Complex as a softball <br />complex and YAC as a baseball complex. <br /> <br />Ms. McPherson also informed the Commission that staff has been contacted by Three <br />Rivers Soccer Association (TRSA) and they are interested in discussing financial <br />participation to construct soccer fields at the Youth Athletic Complex. There would be room <br />for three full-size soccer fields. Ms. McPherson also stated that there are neighborhood <br />parks that may be available for use by TRSA if monies were available for development of <br />soccer fields at these parks. The Commission was asked to consider these issues and provide <br />further direction to staff at a future meeting. <br /> <br />10. COMMISSIONER HOLSTON-PORK <br />SECONDED THE MOTION.
