In one of the other instances, the <br />victim sufferedthree broken ribs. <br />-BATON ROUGE - The Louisiana Department of Health launched an investigation into a local <br />group home after a Livingston Parish resident was left with a broken nose and urinated on by <br />another resident. The investigation revealed at least 13 deficiencies that needed an immediate <br />correction, according to the 67-page report the WBRZ Investigative Unit obtained. <br />-\[Kentucky\] The home, which is owned by ResCare, houses men with special needs. Hardin Co. <br />Sheriff John Ward said a ResCare employee called 911 just before 11 p.m. Tuesday to report the <br />co-worker that she was relieving had been attacked.Deputies found Sally Berry’s lifeless body <br />lying in a pool of blood. She had been brutally stabbed multiple times, Ward said. The 66-year- <br />old Radcliffwoman was a ResCare employee who worked as a caretaker at the home. <br />According to an arrest citation, Lindale Cunningham, a 32-year-old resident of the group home, <br />confessed to crime. He was one of three men being cared for at the home. <br />-\[Red Bluff\] We’re continuing to seek answers as the March 5 death of a West Carrollton group <br />home resident has been ruled a homicide and an Ohio disabilities advocacy group said it is <br />investigating the facility. Jerrold Duskey, 65, died from complications of multiple blunt force <br />injuries to his head, torso and left upper extremity, the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office <br />said Monday. The company that manages the ResCare Red Bluff facility – ResCare Inc. — has <br />said it dismissed two employees who were working during the incident and it is cooperating <br />with law enforcement. <br />
