Housing and Redevelopment Minutes Page 3 <br />December 3, 2018 <br />----------------------------- <br /> <br />-CEE can set up this loan program in two to three weeks <br /> -CEE requires TRID and an estimate and closing agreement; CMHP doesn’t require <br />-Loan accounting can be administered by CEE which will create less work for our <br />Finance Department <br />-CEE pulls a credit report and requires an O&E <br />-CEE promotes the state energy programs such as solar energy, FHMA, apply on <br />line. <br />-CEE is funded by partnership between other organizations. <br />-CEE Initial setup fee is $1500 with annual fee of $500 <br /> <br />The HRA’s contract with CMHP expires on January 1, 2019. The HRA discussed allowing a <br />lapse between CMHP to determine if there was a program that would better fit the HRA <br />and residents. <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the commission to allow the CMHP contact to lapse and have staff <br />contact the other cities and asking their opinion and what their satisfaction is for CEE to <br />administer these loans, how many average loans per year. CEE will present their program at <br />the January 7, 2019, HRA meeting. The CMHP contract would lapse and no loans will be <br />approved in January. <br /> <br />8.2 HRA Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program Policy <br /> <br /> It was the consensus of the HRA to table this item as the contract with CMHP will lapse and <br />another loan administrator will be used. <br /> <br />9.
