The Commissioners expressed their <br />support to forward the letter to the City Councilmembers. <br /> <br />9c. <br /> <br />Update on Kelley Farm <br /> <br />Commissioner Peterson stated he and Commissioner Huberty attended the Kelley <br />Farm event to talk about park issues. Chair Anderson noted he had been <br />informed the event was poorly attended. <br /> <br />10. Discussion - Swimmina PoollPhil Hals) <br /> <br />Phil Hals indicated there has been a very limited response from the public <br />regarding serving on a pool task force. It was the consensus of the Commissioners <br />to have Phil invite several pool companies to make a presentation of their <br />products at a future Park & Recreation Commission meeting. <br /> <br />11. Discussion - Lease Law in Parks <br /> <br />Phil Hals indicated he has received 5 complaint calls in the past month regarding <br />dogs running without a leash in Woodland Trails. Discussion followed regarding <br />posting the city's ordinance at the park entrance. It was the consensus of the <br />Commissioners to review this matter further at the June Park & Recreation <br />meeting. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />Discussion - Overniaht Use of Orono Park for Ham Radio Demonstration <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the Commissioners to support approval for overnight use <br />of Orono Park by the amateur (Ham) radio club for their annual field day <br />operations event. <br /> <br />13. Staff Updates <br /> <br />Phil Hals. Streets/Parks Superintendent. updated the Commissioners on the ERY AC <br />fields. <br /> <br />Chair Anderson expressed his concern regarding Norwest Bank's request for an <br />additional access onto Jackson south of 193rd. <br /> <br />Commissioner Anderson requested that staff pursue locating a source for <br />engineered blue prints for the proposed concession stand/restroom/equipment <br />storage building at the new athletic fields complex. <br /> <br />15.
