No <br />additions or corrections. <br /> <br />Wilbur Daniels,XNOC John Plaisted, Walter Schumacher and <br />Adri;.n Barnier, representa.f1g-:I;he Elk River Rotary Club <br />reported a study is being made in to the fe~sibi1ity of <br />a swinllning pool in Elk Rivero Slide pictures \'iere shm.m <br />and the rota.ry me."Il.bcrs oa.sked for a reco:rr.m.endlil,tion or <br />uecision from the Councilo They reported that matching funds are available for <br />a outdoor pool, under the Land and Water Conserv~tion Program. The council was <br />agree1l.ble that the~need is proba.bl;y there but suggested that the rota.ry go the <br />route of securing pledges from the citizens as a bond issue is out of the question <br />at this time. <br /> <br />Moved b37 CouTlcilman Syring and seconded by Councilman Hudson to extend the <br />existing fire contracts ninety days to facilitate drawing up the new fi~e contr~ctso <br />Motion unaminously carried. <br /> <br />Les Derr pnd Bob Dahms were present and discussion followed on our summer swi~ming <br />program. Dahms reported that :fvf5ke Arno11 Ann Nelson and Lori Prevo would be avail- <br />able. Dahms will assume the responsibility of running the program~ut will not <br />take an active part in ~aching or lifegaarding. Agreeable with the council to <br />h.;;;ve a swimrning 'program mld Derr ard.
