NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />UPDATE OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />CITY OF ELK RIVER, MINNESOTA <br />ATTENTION RESIDENTS, BUSINESSES, PROPERTY OWNERS, AND <br />CONCERNED CITIZENS <br />PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City of Elk River, Minnesota, has initiated an update <br />of its existing Comprehensive Plan. This plan will help guide development decisions in Elk <br />River over the next decade and will be a valuable reference document for the City, its <br />Planning Commission, residents, and businesses. <br />PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that an initial public hearing on the proposed <br />update of the Comprehensive Plan will be conducted by the Steering Committee on <br />Wednesday, May 25, 1994, at the Elk River City Hall, beginning at 7:00 p.m The public <br />hearing will address the industrial development component of the Comprehensive Plan. <br />Discussion topics may include an overview 'of existing inventory of industrial sites, the <br />absorption rate of industrial land, and potential areas for new industrial parks -business <br />parks. <br />All persons desiring to appear at the public hearing will be afforded an opportunity to <br />express their view with respect to the topic of industrial development and the <br />Comprehensive Plan. Interested persons may also file written comments expressing their <br />views with the City Planner up to the date of the public hearing. For finther information, <br />contact Steven B.
