April 20, 1995 <br />Steering Committee <br />City Hall <br />Elk River, MN 55330 <br />Dear Steering Committee: <br />We are writing to voice our opinions about the proposal of a large retail store being <br />constructed in Brentwood along Highway #169. We do not want this area of Elk <br />River to be rezoned for commercial use! We do not want city sewer and water to <br />extend further north on Highway #169. We do not want the traffic that would <br />come with this type of development. <br />It seems that there is ample room elsewhere in Elk River for any additional <br />commercial development. We are not against growth in Elk River, but we think <br />common sense should be used in planning new developments. <br />Sincerely, <br />Elk River Residents <br />
