To: ALL MEMBERS of the ELK RIVER CITY COUNCIL, , <br />PLANNING COMMISSION, <br />and related staff. <br />Regarding: The Proposed Extension of Urban Services <br />(sewer and water), <br />along and surrounding the EAST Highway 10 Area. <br />As land, home, and business owners who reside in the <br />East Elk River Sewer and Water Project Area, the signatures <br />presented to you on these pages represents approximately <br />6 1 1 years combined of family life and history in this <br />community,... and approximately 4 6 7 years combined of <br />what for the most part, has been small business ownership <br />serving the Elk River community, and beyond. <br />Implementation of your Proposed Extension of Urban Ser- <br />vices, as it is currently mapped out, would unfavorably, and <br />to varying degrees, adversely affect our lives, our livelihoods, <br />and our visions and hopes for the future. <br />We do not want and we do not need, <br />city sewer and water services for our homes! <br />We do not want and we do not need, <br />city sewer and water services for our businesses! <br />PLEASE respect, and seriosly consider our point of view <br />in this matter, when you are evaluating the many options <br />that are still available. <br />3`J�Y� er STi�4i <br />THANK.
