<br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS-
<br />Sealed Bids will be received by the
<br />Village of Elk River, Minnesota, at
<br />the Village Hall until 8:00 P.~., on
<br />Monday, August 4, 1969, for makmg of
<br />the following described street improve-
<br />ments. The work consists of approxi-
<br />mately 1,200 feet of concrete curb and
<br />gutter, 1,200 tons of plant mixed bitu-
<br />minous paving and 2,400 tons of gravel
<br />as shown on and according to the
<br />plans and specifications on file at the
<br />office of the Village Clerk and the office
<br />of the Engineer, Mills Engineering
<br />Company, Long Lake, Minnesota. The
<br />bids will be Publicly opened and read
<br />at the above mentioned time and place
<br />for the consideration of the Village
<br />Council.
<br />All bids shall be made on the pro-
<br />posal forms of the Village and shall
<br />be accompanied by a cash deposit
<br />cashier's check, certified check or bid
<br />bond payable to the Village Clerk for
<br />not less than 5 % of the amount bid.
<br />Bids shall be directed to the Village
<br />Clerk, William Konop, Elk River, Min-
<br />nesota. The Village reserves the right
<br />to reject any and all bids, waive any
<br />informalities and make the award in
<br />the best interests of the Village.
<br />Copies of the plans and llpecifica-
<br />tions will be furnished on request by
<br />the Engineer to any prospective bidder
<br />upon a deposit of $10.00 to guarantee
<br />their safe return within 10 days after
<br />the bid opening date.
