Total cost approximately $6700.00 that the businessment would <br />probably assume but some help and the maintenance from the Village was requestedo <br />Mr. Glover asked for the councils recommendation so that it can be presented to <br />the Chamber Parking Committee. <br /> <br />Other suggestions and questions presented were: to black~op and stripe the parking <br />lot along Railroad Drive and have the businessmen park their. Would the Village <br />maintain the Jarmoluk property if the businessmen lease it for a parkin. lot. <br />Utilize the entire downtown park and Jackson Place as a parking lot. <br /> <br />Bob Syring will work with Dan Greene and Bob Barnier on the use of the . Jannoluk <br />property as a parking area and report back at our June 2 meeting as to the rental cost. <br /> <br />"- z <br />Mayor Bartelt reported that there has been no definite decision on vacatiliG- Jackson <br />Place, but a study'is being made. <br /> <br />The open meeting with the businessmen was closed. <br /> <br />Agreeable with the Council to allow the Chamber of Commerce to use Orono Park on <br />the 4th of Julyo <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Hudson, seconded by Councilman McRae, to applJ" for a federal <br />grant for watermain and sewer planning. ,Motion unaminously carried. It l.f8s decided not to <br />increase this fund but to have the policemen:take the checks to the bank for cash <br />when needed..
