<br /> <br />Request for Action <br /> <br /> <br />To Item Number <br />Mayor and City Council 10.4 <br />Agenda Section Meeting Date Prepared by <br />Work Session December 3, 2018 Justin Femrite, P.E., Public Works Director <br />Item Description Reviewed by <br />Twin Lakes Road Extension Cal Portner, City Administrator <br />Reviewed by <br /> <br /> <br />Action Requested <br />Informational item. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br />Staff is preparing a grant application for federal funding on the Twin Lakes Road Extension consistent <br />with the project funding sources identified in the CIP. This project consists of recommended <br />improvements from a number of different studies including the Twin Lakes Road Corridor study, the <br />st <br />171 Avenue FAST study, the Yale Street Feasibility Report, and the Natures Edge Phase I & II <br />development projects. <br />The attached figure shows the proposed limits of the project. This conceptual layout, which is preliminary <br />and will need to be vetted through a public engagement process, will serve as the basis for the project <br />cost estimates that needs to be include in our grant application. The grant application is due by January 4, <br />2019.
