He noted Tori Newbauer has withdrawn her <br /> application for both the Energy City and Heritage Preservation Commissions. <br /> Council interviewed Aaron Brixius. <br /> Moved by Councilmember Olsen and seconded by Councilmember Olsen to <br /> appoint Aaron Brixius to the Energy City Commission for term ending <br /> February 20, 2020. <br /> Motion carried 5-0. <br /> Council interviewed Tony Mauren. <br /> Moved by Councilmember Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Olsen <br /> to appoint Tony Mauren to the Heritage Preservation Commission. <br /> Motion carried 5-0. <br /> 10.2 2019-2023 Capital Impr ;;t,,PN1an <br /> Ms. Ziemer and Mr. Femrite presented the staff report and discussed various capital <br /> outlay projects and capital improvement funds. <br /> Ms. Ziemer and Mr. Hecker discusset e park improvement funds. <br /> Ms. Ziemer and Mr. Lore presented the government building reserve fund. <br /> Chief Nj r nhausen discussed the public safety building improvements. <br /> fayo, <br /> iemer reviewed the equipment replacement fund. <br /> Dietz asked about a request he received from the volunteers who groom the <br /> winter trails at Woodland Trails and wondered about the replacement schedule for <br /> snowmobiles. He stated the schedule kept the equipment substantially longer than 3 <br /> years. <br /> It was the consensus of the council to discuss at a future work session the <br /> snowmobile replacement schedule and include Parks and Recreation Commissioner <br /> Dave Anderson and Parks Maintenance Supervisor Tim Sevcik. <br /> Chief Nierenhausen discussed the challenges of following a specific squad car vehicle <br /> replacement schedule that doesn't harm officers,decrease vehicle performance, and <br /> increase costs.
