Project Finances <br /> <br />State Funding <br /> <br />Governor Tim Pawlenty made the Northstar Commuter Rail Project one of his <br />top capital investment (bonding2 priorities for the 2005 legislative session. That <br />priority became real on April 6t when the Legislature passed a major budget <br />bill to finance state construction projects. The Governor signed the bonding bill <br />April 11 th at the Coon Rapids-Riverdale park-and-ride lot, future site of one of <br />the stations on the Northstar line.
