Parks and Recreation Director Update <br /> Mr. Hecker presented his staff report. <br /> 8.1 Recreation Manager's Update <br /> Mr. Benoit presented the 2018 River Front Concert Series sponsored by The Bank of Elk <br /> River. <br /> 8.2 Parks Superintendent's Update <br /> Mr. Sevcik presented his staff report. <br /> 4111 Mr. Sevcik also shared that Cargill employees volunteered time to plant trees at the Youth <br /> Athletic Complex and that the Lion John Weicht Park picnic shelters were going to be <br /> stained by 25-35 volunteers and there were 20 volunteers that helped Friends of the <br /> Mississippi River remove Garlic Mustard invasive species at William H. Houlton <br /> Conservation Area. <br /> 9. Announcements <br /> Chair Anderson shared that there have been a few new volunteers sign up to do park <br /> maintenance. <br /> Mr. Olsen shared that he received positive feedback regarding the new dugouts at Youth <br /> Athletic Complex. <br /> 0.
