The complainant reported that on an unknown date someone stole several thousand dollars of wire out of a electrical panel Inside of the building at the listed location. There was no sign of forced entry and it appeared that some of the doors were not securing properly. Someone also moved a trailer which had been parked over a utility Zane box in the ground in the center of the parking lot and damaged the cover, and had ER 17001556 Burglary _ 17354 St damaged a utility box in the ground in the northeast corner of the parking lot by 01-2 01-24 NW hooking a chain up to it. The complainant had videos from a trail camera of two vehicles entering and leaving the parking lot on 1-2-17, 1-4-17, 1-7-17, and 1-9-37, usually around 0500 to 0600 hours.The on call Investigatorresponded tocollect a fingerprint for evidence. Upon arrival, officers found one door propped open on the west side, and searchedinside with the assistance of an Anoka PD K9; 2017- Zane however, did not find anyone. The caller/owner of the property reported new graffiti was found on the rear of the building (Old Saxon Zane Motors). Property 08-09 NW Suspects are unknown, and this damage was reported to have occurred sometime over the past weekend. NW Officer observed the listed passenger vehicle parked at the north entrance to Saxon Motors lot. Vehicle had been parked there for over ten minutes before shutting off its 2017- Zane lights. The driver remained seated in the vehicle. While checking on the driver, he ER 17020313 Suspicious Vehicle 10-08 17354 St stated that he was taking time to calm himself after spending the weekend with his NW mother before going back home to her and dad in Blaine. Upon Zane my arrival in the area, I found the dog, a brown Labrador mix, in the SA parking lot ER 17025115 Animal Complaint 2017- 17354 St off of Yale Ct. The dog ran between the two listed businesses down Yale St and behind 12-14 NW the houses of the road several times. The dog showed no signs of being tired or cold. The dog eventually ran down to the river in a wooded area and I lost sight of it. I cleared and had no further contacts with the dog. End. Made contact with realtor who was showing the business to a potential ER 18001101 Suspicious Vehicle 01-17 17354 St buyer. No issues and owner of business was aware of persons on the property.
