Observed a black Monte Carlo pull out of the west end of the Saxon Motors car lot. I caught up to and stopped the Monte Carlo on Main St at Zane St. The Monte Carlo ER 09003028 Suspicious Vehicle 2009 17354 ZANE was bearing MN LIC/MTV548. Driver and passenger ID'd. Driver stated he was looking 02-20 ST for a new car. Another squad checked the Saxon Lot while I detained the driver and Passenger. Nothing appeared to be tampered with. Driver advised to look during daytime hours. No further action. Located an open car wash bay at the rear of the listed business. Located an additional Unsecure 2009- Zane unsecure door leading into detail shop. Door was secured -nothing appeared out of ER 09004593 Building/Home 03-19 17354 St place. -Info only - Received radio call of possible fire at Saxon Motors. On site cleaning crew observed ER 09006191 Fire/Arson 2009 17354 Zane smoke haze coming from the interior of the shop building. Elk River Fire responded to 04-16 St scene and found an oil burner, burning off oil.Keyholder responded to scene and was advised of findings. Cleared without incident. 2009- Zane While on Patrol, I observed mentioned vehicle in the parking lots of mentioned ER 090068 Security Check 04 29 17354 St businesses. Spoke with the R.O. of the vehicle, who explained she was car shopping. I completed a security check of both businesses, no problems observed. 2009-ZANE Complainant who was delivering to Saxon reported a black s-10 style blazer was ER 09007577 Suspicious Vehicle OS -09 17354 ST occupied and parked in the lot. The vehicle was GOA and later located pulling out of ER Ford and stopped it. The occupants were "bored and looking around." ER 09007 Security Chea - 17354 Sane Security check. OS- Requested by business owner to check the door of the business to ensure thaC they ER 09008038 Public Assist 2009- 17354 Zane are locked. Checked business. Cleaner was also on site. ER 09013 948 Suspicious Person 2009 17354 Zane Observed two people walking in the parking lot. Identified male who said they were 08-11 St looking at used cars. Vehicle was parked on street. No problems. Received radio call for suspicious activity complaint at the former business of Saxon ER 09015665 Suspicious Vehicle 2009 17354 Zane Motors. Complaint wasreported by a third party who observed a suspicious vehicle 09-06 St parked at the business, reportedly "cleaning it out."Premises were checked, building was found secure and no vehicle was located. Cleared without incident. 009- Zane While on patrol I checked exterior of below business by walking around building ER 0901 68 Security Check 10-26 17354 St checking doors and windows. Building was found to be secure and lot clear. Nothing further.
