Planning Commission Page 8 <br />June 26, 2018 <br />----------------------------- <br />Moved by Commissioner Feinstein and seconded by Commissioner Jordan to <br />recommend approval of an Ordinance Amendment relating to Sec. 30-1852, <br />Wetland Setback Regulations, and allowing staff to administer a review <br />process for all properties platted prior to adoption of the wetland setback <br />ordinance as outlined in the staff report. <br /> <br />Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />5.5 City of Elk River – Zone Change <br /> Zone Change - <br /> <br /> C2 (Office District) to R1c (Single Family Residential) and DD (Downtown <br />District), Case No. ZC 18-03 <br /> <br />Mr. Picone presented the staff report. <br /> <br />Chair Johnson opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />There being no one further to speak, Chair Johnson closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Larson-Vito and seconded by Commissioner <br />Nicholas to recommend approval of an ordinance rezoning three lots from C2 <br />(Office District) to R1c (Single Family Residential) and two lots from C2 to <br />DD (Downtown District) for the following reason: <br />1. The rezoning is consistent with the City of Elk River Land Use <br />Plan adopted as part of the City of Elk River Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />6. General Business <br /> <br />There was no general business. <br /> <br />7. City Council Liaison Update <br /> <br />Councilmember Wagner stated she had nothing new to update the Planning <br />Commission from the latest City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Commissioner Jordan is scheduled for the July 16 City Council meeting. <br /> <br />The Commission recessed at 8:12 p.m. and reconvened at 8:12 p.m. in order to go into work <br />session. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
