<br />. <br /> <br />J:resent; <br /> <br />REGULAR 1~ETIEG of the Village Council <br /> <br />The hegular monthly meeting of the Village CQuncil was <br />held at the Council Room on Monday Sept,lst,19ju <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Thomas .E..Beck <br />Geo.Cornelius <br />L.L.Bishop <br />Joe Ludvik <br />W.F.Chadbourne <br /> <br />Pres, <br /> <br />Trustees <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />~eeting called to order by the President at 8.30 P.~. <br />:M.inuess of the last hegular meeting reau. and approved <br /> <br />ReI;ort of Frau T.White Village atty,presented a report of his <br />,i4'rank T. correspondence with the Insurance Co, in regard to paying <br />White damages to Plate Glass at Anoka during the pursuit of an <br />Village att~to thief~The Council decided that the burden of proof <br />rested with the Inslirance Co.to prove as to who fired the <br />in regard shot that broke the said Plate Glass. <br />to R.R.Co. <br /> <br />250.00 <br />for Co. <br />.Fair. 1930 <br /> <br />~ B"Udget <br />1931 <br />1 2800. co <br /> <br />400.00 <br />returned <br />Poor Fun1 <br /> <br />uniform <br />ordered for <br />Village <br />1.a.rshal <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Also a report of his correspondence with the R.R.Co.in <br />regard to the unneeess,ry whistling of locomotives while <br />passing through the Village dliring the night.A copy of <br />Ordinance l'iQ26-havinl been forwared to the R.R.Co. b~r the <br />Village Clerk ' <br />The following Resolution was passed unanimously by the ~ounc,~ <br />That the sum of 250.00 be appropriated from the General <br />Fund to aid the County Fair for 1930 <br /> <br />This being the time to make up the Budget for the coming <br />year.After some discussion in regard to the subject the <br />followi ng nesolution was offered to the Council. <br /> <br />Resolved that the following sums be assessed on the taxabl~ <br />:property of the Village to meet the expenses of the ~Teal' <br />1~31- <br />General Fund <br />Road & Bridge <br />Bond & Interest <br />l'oor Fund <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />'7000.00 <br />1400.00 <br />4000.00 <br />400~OO <br />12800.00 <br /> <br />Resolution adopted <br />by a unanimous vote <br />of Council <br /> <br />to On motion duly made seconded and declared carried by the <br />President the Tresi,was ordered to return or transfer the <br />sum of 400,00 from the General Fund to the Poor Fur~d.leavi- <br />ng a bal.due the Poor Fund of 200.00 of amount borrowed <br />from the poor Fund Oct.1 st .1923- to pay the frontage Tax for <br />Water Frontage on Village ~ropert y.400.00 having been <br />returned Oct.lst.1929-to the Poor Furid <br /> <br />koved and carried that the Village 1.a.rshal be authorized <br />to purchase a suitable uniform for his use as 1~rshal at <br />the expense of the Village <br />The following bills were presented and on motion allowed <br /> <br />See next page:continued <br /> <br />e <br />
