Parks&Recreation Commission Minutes Page 3 <br /> June 13,2018 <br /> Commissioner Rathbun amended motion with combining of projects that serve all <br /> the needs of the facility and parks and trails combined would be a commitment at <br /> the level of the community center project. <br /> Commissioner Niziolek doesn't want to cap anything because all the members of <br /> the community need to be represented. <br /> Motion failed 5-2. <br /> Moved by Commissioner Williams and seconded by Commissioner Holmgren to <br /> recommend to City Council the Multi-Purpose project number two in addition to <br /> the park and trail projects commission identifies as priorities. <br /> Commissioner Niziolek shared he is concerned this is not representing community <br /> as a whole. <br /> Motion carried 6-1. <br /> 5.5 Athletic Facilities Master Plan <br /> Mr. Hecker presented his staff report. <br /> Moved by Commissioner Soltvedt and seconded by Commissioner Williams to <br /> recommend to City Council to accept the Athletic Facilities Master Plan with the <br /> amendment to the Youth Athletic Complex to have a playground on the north <br /> complex.
