6 <br /> f' ELK RIVER MUNICIPAL <br /> 322 King Avenue - - ?3 <br /> " Elk River, Minnesota 55330 <br /> Phone (612) 441-2020 <br /> • <br /> UTILITIES COMMISSION MINUTES <br /> December 7, 1992 <br /> 4 :00 P.M. <br /> Present Were: George Zabee President <br /> James Tralle Vice Chairman <br /> James Simpson Trustee <br /> Others present: Bill Birrenkott General Manager <br /> Glenn Sundeen <br /> 1) The meeting was called to order at 4:00 P.M. by President Zabee. <br /> 2) Motion by Mr. Simpson seconded by Mr. Tralle to approve the <br /> agenda. The motion carried. <br /> 3) Motion by Mr. Tralle, seconded by Mr. Simpson to approve the <br /> minutes of the November 10 meeting. The motion carried. <br /> 4 ) Motion by Mr. Simpson, seconded by Mr. Tralle, to approve the <br /> minutes of the special meeting of November 17 . The motion <br /> carried. <br /> 5) Motion by Mr. Simpson, seconded by Mr. Tralle, to approve the <br /> minutes of the special meeting of December 1. The motion carried. <br /> 6) The General Manager reviewed the proposed operating, equipment, <br /> and construction budgets with the Commissioners. Motion by Mr. <br /> Tralle, seconded by Mr. Simpson, to approve the budgets as <br /> presented to be filed with and become a part of these minutes. <br /> The motion carried. <br /> 7 ) The General Manager reported that another large area has been <br /> acquired from Anoka Electric Cooperative on December 3, with <br /> another large area scheduled for December 8. It is planned that <br /> most of the scheduled area targeted for takeover this year will <br /> take place before the end of the year. <br /> 8) The General Manager reviewed the November financial statements <br /> with the Commissioners. It was noted that these statements are <br /> unaudited and may contain errors. It was also noted that the <br /> November revenue figures do not seem as high as they should be. <br /> The General Manager reported that a thorough search has already <br /> been started to see if an error could be found. Motion by Mr. <br /> Zabee, seconded by Mr. Simpson to receive and file the November <br /> financial statements. <br /> 9) Motion by Mr. Simpson, seconded by Mr. Tralle, to approve the <br /> monthly expenditures, with the typographical error corrected, as <br /> listed on the check register. The motion carried. <br />
