7 ) The Commissioners renewed the discussion of payment for land <br /> for the new water tower, well and treatment facility. Motion <br /> by Mr. Tralle, seconded by Mr. Zabee to pay the City of Elk <br /> River $10,000 for the land purchased for the water tower, well <br /> and treatment facility. The motion carried. <br /> 8) Mike McGlone with the Salvation Army reviewed with the <br /> Commissioners the HEATSHARE program sponsored by the Salvation <br /> Army and asked if the Utilities would be willing to <br /> participate. Motion by Mr. Tralle, seconded by Mr. Zabee to <br /> authorize the Utilities to participate in HEATSHARE to the <br /> extent as present software permits as determined by staff. <br /> Initially, this would only be a stuffer in the bills and the <br /> collection of money to be turned over to the Salvation Army for <br /> administration. The Motion carried. <br /> 9) The Line Superintendent updated the Commissioners on the status <br /> of construction projects and other operating conditions. <br /> 10) Motion by Mr. Simpson seconded by Mr. Zabee to approve the <br /> check register. <br /> 11) The next meeting was set for Tuesday, November 2, 1993 at 3:00 <br /> P.M. at the Utilities office. <br /> 12 ) Motion by Mr. Simpson , seconded by Mr. Zabee to adjourn.
