l ` ` <br /> ELK RIVER MUNICIPAL UTILITIES <br /> vt/ 322 King Avenue <br /> Elk River, Minnesota 55330 <br /> Phone (612) 441-2020 <br /> UTILITIES COMMISSION MINUTES <br /> October 12, 1994 <br /> 9:00 A.M. <br /> Present Were: James Simpson President <br /> George Zabee Vice Chairman <br /> James Tralle Trustee <br /> Others Present: Bill Birrenkott General Manager <br /> Glenn Sundeen Line Superintendent +` <br /> Bob McCartney Water Superintendent <br /> Terry Maurer City Engineer <br /> Pat Klaers City Administrator <br /> Other Guests Present: Carol Mills & Murray McNair representing <br /> the Guardian Angels of Elk River, Jae Eisman of CBI Na-con, and <br /> Dean Bach of Pitt-Des Moines, Inc. <br /> 1) The meeting was called to order at 3:00 P.M. by President <br /> Simpson. <br /> 2 ) Motion by Mr. Zabee, seconded by Mr. Tralle to approve the <br /> agenda as presented. The Motion carried. <br /> 3) Motion by Mr. Zabee, seconded by Mr. Tralle to approve the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting as distributed. The motion <br /> carried. <br /> 4 ) Carol Mills and Murray McNair, representing the Guardian Angels <br /> of Elk River requested the Commissioners to reduce the fees to <br /> be charged for the new addition, both in Water fees and charges <br /> for underground electricity. It was noted by the Commissioners <br /> that the Utilities are only billing for the same number of <br /> residential equivalents as the City is billing for the SAC. <br /> Motion by Mr. Tralle, seconded by Mr. Zabee to leave the water <br /> charges for the Guardian Angels as invoiced, however, these <br /> charges will be payable in thirds at the end of three <br /> consecutive years with no interest. The motion carried. <br /> 5) Motion by Mr. Zabee, seconded by Mr. Tralle that the charges <br /> for underground electricity for the Guardian Angels addition <br /> be as per normal policy not to exceed the $5,000 estimate. <br /> These charges will be payable in thirds at the end of three <br /> consecutive years with no interest. The motion carried. <br />
