9) Staff reported that during the hot spell in June that the water <br /> pumps ran all day and storage of water in the towers actually <br /> went down thus requiring us to consider a sprinkling ban or <br /> reduction. Motion by Mr. Zabee, seconded by Mr. Tralle, to ask <br /> the City Council to pass an enforcable ordinance similar to the <br /> one at Anoka to allow some curtailment or a ban on lawn <br /> sprinkling during periods of stress. The motion carried. <br /> 10) The General Manager presented the Commissioners with some <br /> background on the entities included in the salary survey. <br /> 11) The General Manager was instructed to contact Anoka Electric <br /> Coop regarding the installation of a street light at the <br /> entrance to Ridgewood. <br /> 12) The General Manager was instructed to contact the Librarian <br /> regarding the lighting in the parking lot at the library. <br /> 13 ) The water repair and gas repairs on Main Street were discussed. <br /> 14 ) The policy on washdown of parking lots were discussed with no <br /> action being taken at this time. However, it was decided to <br /> revisit this issue at a later date. <br /> 15) Mr. Zabee expressed his concern for the level of Street <br /> Lighting on Jackson Avenue and asked other Commissioners to <br /> inspect this area after all additional lights are installed. <br /> 16) Motion by Mr. Zabee to authorize Nomex overcoats for the Line <br /> Superintendent and all Fire retardent clothing for the <br /> Water/Meter Superintendent. The motion carried. <br /> 17 ) The next meeting was set for Tuesday, August 8, 1995 at 4:00 <br /> P.M. at the Utilities office. <br /> 18) Motion by Mr. Tralle, seconded by Mr. Dietz to adjourn.
