We will allow a bond to be posted in lieu of a cash deposit, <br /> but only if the term of the bond is a minimum of five years. <br /> The motion carried. <br /> 6) The Water Superintendent reviewed with the Commissioners the <br /> results of an inspection from the Minnesota Dept of Health. <br /> 7) Motion by Mr. Tralle, seconded by Mr. Dietz to waive all water <br /> connection fees for the proposed new ice arena. The motion <br /> carried. <br /> 8) Motion by Mr. Tralle, seconded by Mr. Dietz, that the Utilities <br /> absorb the cost of construction of an additional 175 feet of <br /> 6" water main to better serve the proposed new ice arena if <br /> others acquire the necessary easements. The motion carried. <br /> 9) The Line Superintendent reviewed the status of construction <br /> projects and other operating conditions. <br /> 10) Motion by Mr. Tralle, seconded by Mr. Zabee, to approve the <br /> check register. <br /> 11) Motion by Mr. Dietz seconded by Mr. Tralle, to donate $100 <br /> toward the expenses of the Elk River graduation party. The <br /> motion carried. <br /> 12 ) Motion by Mr. Tralle, seconded by Mr. Dietz, to approve the <br /> list of charged off bad debts which will be attached to and <br /> become a part of these minutes. The motion carried. <br /> 13) Procedures to notify residents of any planned radical change <br /> of the water level of Lake Orono were discussed. It was agreed <br /> that if the homeowners would give us the name of one <br /> responsible party we would notify that person whenever we knew <br /> of an unusual event. <br /> 14 ) The possibility of future street lights on Jackson Ave was <br /> discussed. <br /> 15) The next meeting was set for Tuesday, April 18, 1995 at 4 :00 <br /> P.M. at the Utilities office. <br /> 16) Motion by Mr. Tralle, seconded by Mr. Zabee to adjourn.
