<br />REGULAR SEJllI-HONTHLY HEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF ELK RIVER <br />HELry IN THE COUNCIL CHA~{8ERS OF THE CITY OFFICE BLDG. <br /> <br />O December 20, 1976 at 7:30 P.N. <br /> <br />The Regular Semi-Monthly Meeting of the Elk River City Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Lundberg on December 20, 1976 at 7:30 P.M. irr~the Council Chambers of the City <br />Office Building. Hembers present Hayor Lundberg, Councilmen otto, Konop, Syring and Hudson. <br /> <br />The minutes of the December 6, 1976 meeting were reviewed the referrance to Ridgewood East <br />subdivision Plat conditions should read plat not plot, as there were no other additions or ~ <br />corrections the minutes were approved as corrected. <br /> <br />The Council reviewed the Fire Depts. request to advertise the sale of the 1968 International <br />4 1.n!heel dirve pick-up. The Council authorized the advertising of the sale of the pick-up <br />for January 17, 1976 at 8:00 PM. for Councils final approval~' <br /> <br />Butch Elliott met 1.nuth the Council in regards to the 15% net profit of the Utilities paid tc <br />the City and 1977 wages. <br /> <br />The Council stated that whatever the Commission de sided upon in regards to their employees <br />arrni versary date 1.nJas up to the Commission. ,1)S:hv!;,r t:;';:. {' il (t;1 C //~. <br /> <br />The Council reviewed the General Government and Liquor Stores 1977 salaries and wages <br />proposals presented by the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />Hoved by Councilmember Syring and seconded by Councilmember Konop approving the 1977 salariE <br />and wages as presented. Motion unanimously carried by a vote of 5-0. A copy of the listin@ <br />t) is attached. <br /> <br />. Moved by Conncilmember Hudson and seconded by Councilmember Otto putting a freeze on the <br />present group health insurance rates any further increases will have to be paid by the <br />employee it was also recommended that the Utilities Commission initate the same policy for <br />the employees. Motion unanimosuly carried by a vote of 5-0. <br /> <br />Hoved by Councilmember Syring and seconded by Councilmember otto approving the Rip-Rapping <br />program for the Mississippi River. Motion unanimously carried by a vote of 5-0. <br /> <br />Hoved by Councilmember Hudson and seconded'by Councilmember Syring authorizing the Mayor <br />to negotiate the purchase price of the Nickerson property needed for the lift station. <br />Motion unanimously carried by a vote of 5-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Konop and seconded~by Councilmember S-yring approving the paying of <br />the liquor store bills for payment as listed. Motion unanimo~aly carried by a vote of <br />5-0. <br /> <br />No further business the meeting adjourned at 9:15 P.M. <br /> <br /> <br />o <br />
