Page 2 <br /> depository for funds for 1996 . Motion carried. <br /> 9 . Discussion held concerning the Comparable Worth report . <br /> Lori Johnson explained the reasons the report was not in <br /> compliance . She then made recommendations that would put <br /> the report into compliance . Motion by Mr. Dietz, seconded <br /> by Mr. Tralle to increase the appropriate salary ranges, <br /> and have Lori resubmit the report . Motion carried. <br /> 10 . Motion by Mr. Dietz to use P.D. I . and an employee committee <br /> to re-evaluate the Comparable Worth Points, seconded by Mr. <br /> Zabee . Motion carried. <br /> 11 . Robert McCartney presented a Water Department report . <br /> Discussion was held regarding the Report of Conservation <br /> and Emergency Management, with action to be taken <br /> at a future meeting. <br /> Mr. McCartney reported on the water-main break on Hwy. 10 <br /> near Martin' s Plaza and answered questions by the <br /> Commission. The Commission directed Mr. McCartney to <br /> schedule improvements to water-mains, valves and hydrant <br /> replacements and return to the Commission for approval . <br /> Mr. McCartney advised that Sprint contacted him regarding <br /> antenna installation on water towers, and advised that <br /> revenue from Sprint be ear-marked for repainting of the <br /> towers . <br /> Motion by Mr. Zabee, seconded by Mr. Dietz to receive the <br /> water report . Motion carried. <br /> 12 . Glenn Sundeen presented a Construction and Operations <br /> update . <br /> Discussion inclued tree trimming, chip disposal, and <br /> territory acquisition. <br /> Motion by Mr. Dietz, seconded by Mr. Zabee to authorize <br /> Mr. Sundeen to advertise for truck bids and put out the <br /> specifications . Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Sundeen reported that Rich Czech has requested the <br /> donation of labor to repair and maintain security lights <br /> at the ice arena on school district property. Motion by <br /> Mr. Dietz, seconded by Mr. Zabee to donate the repair and <br /> maintenance of the security lights . Motion carried. <br /> Discussion by Mr. Sundeen of Northern Pipeline' s refusal <br /> to pay for repair of damaged underground cable . Commission <br />
