Mayor Lundberg
requested that each group appoint a spokesman to present their individual group.
o .

Group No.1. Those wanting the new boat landing closed and old reopened.
I. New landing promotes greater use of the lake.
II. New landing is not adequately functional.
III. Hwy. #10 creates a traffic hazard because of the non-existants of turn lanes
and the 55 Mile per hour speed limit.

Group No.2. Those wanting the new boat landing to remain open and leaving the old
landing closed.
I. Old landing with added traffic would cause a hazard for the bike lane.
II. Main Street parking congestion.

One. other comment made as a possible compromise was to open both landings a.s boat launching
areas.

The follwing are com.ments by the City Council.

Mayor Lundberg stated that a boat landing should not be located in a residential area but
rather should be in a park area.
