<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />October 15, 1974 at 7:30 PM. <br /> <br />A Special Meeting of the Elk River City Council was called to order Qy Mayor Lundberg <br />at 7:30 PM. October 15, 1974 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall for the purpose <br />of awarding of bids for the North Bound Liquor Store. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Lundberg, Councilmembers Hudson, Syring and <br />Burke. Liquor Store Manager Ernie Thielke and Archectic Rod Neujahr were also in <br />attendance. <br /> <br />Mr. Neujahr submitted his letter of recommendations for the Councils review. After <br />reviewing and discussing the various changes or addition the following conclusions <br />were made: 1. Include main floor restroom to accomodate the handicaped customers. <br />2. Second exit from the basement storage area. <br />3. Include the sprinkler system for both floors. <br />4. Leave in the carpeting and the sliding glass doors for the self service <br />coolers. <br /> <br />Moved by Mayor Lundberg and seconded by Councilmember Hudson to accept and a,war1,r the <br />contract to the lowest bidder Winkelman Enterprises, also authorize the ~3Cge~ron of <br />the signing of the contract for the Off-Sale Liquor Store Bldg. to be located at the <br />jurltion of Highway #169 and Main Street. Bid amount $166,758.00. <br />Motion unanimously carried by a vote of 4-0. <br /> <br />No further business the meeting adjourned at 9:15 PM. <br /> <br />
