i <br /> p <br /> I also want to address 5902.3.1 Required Access to Building Openings which states, • <br /> exterior doors and openings required by this code or the building <br /> code shall be maintained readily accessible for emergency access <br /> by the Fire Department. An approved access walkway leading from <br /> the fire access apparatus road to exterior openings required by this <br /> code or the building code shall be provided when required by the <br /> Chief. <br /> Maintaining the required access under 5902.2.1 shall be an issue of Fire Department access <br /> to any portion of the buildings within Elk River Station. Under the provisions of the fire <br /> code the turning radius and dead-end fire apparatus access roads in excess of 150' in length <br /> shall be provided with approved provisions for turning around a fire apparatus. The turning <br /> radius of fire apparatus access roads shall be approved by the Chief. <br /> Water supplies and fire hydrants shall be in accordance with 5901 and 5903 of the 1997 <br /> Uniform Fire Code. An approved water supply capable of supplying the fire flow for fire <br /> protection shall be provided to all premises within the proposed development Elk River <br /> Station.
