Should it include <br /> items such as landscaping, signage, lighting and accessory structures. <br /> Design standards, similar to those approved as part of a PUD, could also <br /> be used. <br /> • Tracking the building permits for cluster developments is difficult. Many of <br /> cluster developments have their own unique architectural theme or design <br /> guidelines for the homes. There is currently no mechanism in place to <br /> follow up to see if the houses comply with the architectural theme of each <br /> development. If cluster developments were platted as a PUD, that <br /> designation would prompt whoever is reviewing the building permit to <br /> check the PUD agreement to see if the house plans comply with the <br /> development standards. <br /> • Deed Restrictions — Discuss the possibility of eliminating the conservation <br /> easement option.
