Action Items <br /> 5.1 Park Dedication — Barrett Estates <br /> Mr. Benoit presented his staff report. <br /> Moved by Commissioner Ahless and seconded by Commissioner Williams to <br /> recommend to City Council to accept park dedication for the plat of Miske <br /> Meadows Fifth Addition be paid for 57 dwelling units at the rate applicable when <br /> the subdivision is released for recording.This will be $81,278.01 at the 2018 low <br /> density rate. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> Commission member discussed the trail in regards to the Miske Meadows Fifth Addition. <br /> Commissioner Soltvedt asked if a boardwalk can go through the wetland. <br /> Mr.Leeseberg stated yes. <br /> 6. Discussion Items <br /> 6.1 Deerfield Playground <br /> Mr. Sevcik shared his staff report. <br /> Commission members liked Design 3. <br /> 6.2 Recreation Facility Improvements <br /> Mr. Hecker shared his staff report and presented a slideshow of the different facility <br /> improvements that City Council has discussed. <br /> Commissioner Williams stated that he had shared a plan with the City Council and the <br /> Youth Sports Commission stating:it kept the Activity Center in current location, doing <br /> lights and bathrooms at Youth Athletic Complex, adding restrooms on football side,doing <br /> a joint powers agreement at Hales Field and make Oak Knoll Athletic Complex a <br /> destination complex, and Orono Park would include the skate park, splash pad,and <br /> $2,000,000 for the trail system. Asking to have this be compared to the cost of the <br /> community center project. <br /> Mr. Hecker stated that City Council is discussing funding options such as a local sales tax <br /> option. <br /> 6.3 Athletic Facilities Master Plan Updates <br /> Mr. Hecker shared his staff report. Gave HKGi the discussion items from last month's <br /> NATURE <br />
