Motion unanimously carried by a vote of 4-0. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />School View 1st. Addition project was discussed. Marvin George and four <br />(4) other property owners were in attendance. <br /> <br />Marvin George stated that he never included the paving of the streets <br />in the price of the lot sale. He also stated after a brief discussion <br />with our City Engineer Lyle Swanson that he agrees to pay the paving <br />cost as presented in the engineerig report. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Otto approving the final plat for Ridgewood East <br />3rd. Addition subject to the City Engineers approval and conditioned <br />upon the improvements agreement contract. Motion unanimously carried by <br />a vote of 4-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Konop and seconded by Councilmember Toth approve- <br />ing the preliminary engineerig report for the 1977 Street Improvements <br />which are overlay-2nd. Street from Evans to Railroad Drive and all of <br />Quinn from 4th. Street to highway #10, 6th. Street-between Elk River <br />Concrete and Upland, New Construction-balance of School View 1st. ad- <br />dition Class 5 and ditch improvement for Elk Hills Street and seal <br />coating as presented. Motion unanimously carried by a vote of 4-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember otto and seconded by Councilmember Konop calling <br />for the plans and specification for the 1977 Street Improvements as <br />listed above to include the seal coating. Motion unanimously carried by <br />a vote of 4-0. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Phil S.yles representing the Elk River Jaycees request the Councils ap- <br />proval for a 3.2 beer license for 1 day for Orono park. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember otto and seconded by Councilmember Konop ap- <br />proving the 3.2 beer license request for a 1 day period to the Elk <br />River Jaycees contingent upon receipt of the formal application and <br />approval of the Park Board. Motion unanimously carried by a vote of 4-0. <br /> <br />The Council reviewed the city diseased tree program. The Clerk was <br />instructed to set-up a meeting with the tree inspector and Pat Dwyer <br />to review this program. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember otto and seconded by Councilmember Konop approve- <br />ing the paying of the Liquor Store bills and General Goverment bills <br />for payment as listed.
