Street between Elk River Concrete and Upland there were no e'" <br />objections. <br />Elk Hills Street extention-tabled until the June 20, 1977 meetings <br />at 8:00 pm. <br /> <br />I <br />Moved by Counctlmember otto and seconded by Councilmember Konop to re- <br />comend to the Council that the following proposed improvements be approved: <br />School View 1st. Addition Streets. <br />6th. Street. <br />2nd. Street from Evans to Railroad Drive. <br />Motion was unanimously carried by a vote of 3-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Konop and seconded by Councilmember otto appoint- <br />ing Walt Schumacher to fill the unexpired term of Bob Westerland to the <br />Park Board as recommended by the park Board (term 6-6-77 to 12-31-78). <br />Motion unanimously carried by a vote of 3-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Otto and seconded by Councilmember Konop to hire <br />Mr. John Holmes as the city building and zoning inspector. to be effective <br />July 1, 1977 ($5.00 per inspection and 7.50 per hour for any cleric~l <br />duties that are deemed necessary). <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember otto and seconded by Councilmember Konop approv- <br />ing the signing of the Governor's Youth Employment Program and authorize <br />the Mayor to execute the necessary papers. Motion unanimously carried <br />by a vote of 3-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Konop and seconded by Councilmember Otto approving <br />Ken Nelson's request to junk the old 54 International truck and the old <br />dog van plus advertize the sale of the knife blade mower. Motion unani- <br />mously carried by a vote of 3-0. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Otto and seconded by Councilmember Konop approving <br />the purchase of a 2 channel radio with outside speaker for the 1968 Chev. <br />pick-up. Motion unanimously carried by a vote of 3-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Otto and seconded by Councilmembers Konop approving <br />the paying of the liquor store bills for payment as listed. Motion <br />unanimously carried by a vote of 3-0.
