City Council Minutes Page 4 May 21, 2018 7.3 Simple Plat: Barrett Estates Mr. Leeseberg presented the staff report. Mayor Dietz opened the public hearing. There being no one to speak to this issue, Mayor Dietz closed the public hearing. Moved by Councihnember Westgaard and seconded by Councilmember Wagner to adopt resolution 18-29 approving Final Plat of Barrett Estates with the following conditions: 1. Surface Water Management Fee shall be paid for two lots at the rate applicable at the time the final plat is released for recording. 2. Park Dedication shall be paid for 2 dwelling units at the rate applicable when the subdivision is released for recording. 3. Any item or condition found indicating the site is likely to yield information important to pre -history or history shall immediately be reported to the city. Further, the city reserves the right to stop work authorized in its approval until the site is appropriately investigated and work is authorized. Motion carried 5-0. 7.4 Ordinance Amendment: Beekeeping Mr. Carlton presented the staff report. Mayor Dietz opened the public hearing. There being no one to speak to this issue, Mayor Dietz closed the public hearing. Moved by Councilmember Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Olsen to adopt ordinance 18-08 amending Section 30-1 and 30-803, Animals, adding regulations specific to the keeping of honey bees. Motion carried 5-0. 7.5 2017 National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Annual Report Mr. Wisner presented his staff report. Mayor Dietz opened the public hearing. There being no one to speak to this issue, Mayor Dietz closed the public hearing. 8.1 Deerfield Hill Playground Replacement Mr. Sevcik presented his staff report. Moved by Councilmember Olsen and seconded by Councilmember Westgaard to adopt resolution 18-30 acknowledging the removal and donation of obsolete playground equipment.
