City Council Minutes Page 4 <br />May 21, 2018 <br />----------------------------- <br />7.3 Simple Plat: Barrett Estates <br /> <br /> Mr. Leeseberg presented the staff report. <br /> <br />Mayor Dietz opened the public hearing. There being no one to speak to this issue, <br />Mayor Dietz closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Westgaard and seconded by Councilmember <br />Wagner to adopt resolution 18-29 approving Final Plat of Barrett Estates with <br />the following conditions: <br /> <br />1.Surface Water Management Fee shall be paid for two lots at the rate <br />applicable at the time the final plat is released for recording. <br /> <br />2.Park Dedication shall be paid for 2 dwelling units at the rate applicable <br />when the subdivision is released for recording. <br /> <br />3.Any item or condition found indicating the site is likely to yield <br />information important to pre-history or history shall immediately be <br />reported to the city. Further, the city reserves the right to stop work <br />authorized in its approval until the site is appropriately investigated <br />and work is authorized. <br /> <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />7.4 Ordinance Amendment: Beekeeping <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Carlton presented the staff report. <br /> <br />Mayor Dietz opened the public hearing. There being no one to speak to this issue, <br />Mayor Dietz closed the public hearing. <br /> <br /> Moved by Councilmember Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Olsen <br />to adopt ordinance 18-08 amending Section 30-1 and 30-803, Animals, adding <br />regulations specific to the keeping of honey bees. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />7.5 2017 National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Annual Report <br /> <br /> Mr. Wisner presented his staff report. <br /> <br /> Mayor Dietz opened the public hearing. There being no one to speak to this issue, <br />Mayor Dietz closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />8.1 Deerfield Hill Playground Replacement <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Sevcik presented his staff report. <br /> <br /> Moved by Councilmember Olsen and seconded by Councilmember <br />Westgaard to adopt resolution 18-30 acknowledging the removal and donation <br />of obsolete playground equipment. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />
