<br />The City Administrator briefly reViewed changes made in the Mineral Extraction
<br />Ordinance since the Council considered the matter last. Changes made. in the
<br />Ordinance included a requirement of certain slope dimensions during construction
<br />and at certain key points in the operation and a change in thehand1ii1gof
<br />water bodies on sites to be utilized for gravel or mineral extraction.. purposes.
<br />In reviewing the proposed fee structure, the City Administrator indicated that
<br />a charge per acre was more easily administered than a charge per amoimt of
