<br />Moved by Councilmember Otto to purchase the trailer for $250.00. Motion <br />unanimousily carried by a vote of 3-0. <br /> <br />/~ <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember otto and seconded by Councilmember Toth to give Joe <br />Zerwas, Chief of Police the authorization to apply for a Federal Grant for <br />B.C.A. School. Motion unanimousily carried by a vote of 3-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember ~otn and seconded by Councilmember Engstrom to hire <br />Pat Turcotte under the Governors YoU'bh Program to work on the ball fields <br />and also '\fJith Ken Nelson. Motion unanimousily carried by a vote of 3-0. <br /> <br />Mayor Madsen declared the Hearing on City Zoning Ordinance open at 8:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Linea Fisher, Assistant City Attorney and Zack Johnson, City Planner explained <br />the Enterme Ordinace to the audiance. <br /> <br />After a lot of discussion between the audiance and the City Council it was <br />stggested that a resolution be adopted. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Toth and seconded by Councilmember Engstrom to adopt <br />the Resolution i~~h a stipulation that the City Attorney and City Planner <br />work on the amendment to the ordinance and to include the provision for <br />the Grandfather Clause. Motion unanimousily carried by a vote of 3-0. <br /> <br />Mayor Madsen declared hearing on Street Improvements on Xenia Ave and 6th. <br />Lane open '. <br /> <br />Lyle Swanson, City Engineer reviewed the Preliminary Plat with Property owners <br />He also suggested using out lot A easement for the purpose of a turn around. <br />The costs of the proposed street improvements VJQuld be $9,360.00 and with the <br />turn around it would be around another $11,000.00. Approximate cost per foot <br />\-1Ould be $8.20 including the turn around. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Otto and seconded by Councilmember Toth to have Lyle <br />Swanson go ahead on the Street improvements on 6th Lane and Xenia. Motion <br />unanimousily carried by a vote of 3-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember otto and seconded by Councilmember Engstrom to pass <br />a Resolution applying for State of lviinnesota Land Use Planning Grant Program. <br />Motion unanimousily carried by a vote of 3-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Toth and seconded by Councilmember otto to send in request <br />for reimbursement to Action Construction for work, jone on the Waste Water <br />Treatment Plant. Hotion unanimousily carried by a vote of 3-0. <br /> <br />Tom Hartmen asked the Council about lowering the level of Lake Orono on the <br />11, 12, and 13 of August. <br /> <br />~10ved by Councilmember Engstrom and seconded by Councilmember Toth t;'!) apply to <br />the Natural Resorge.$' for Permission to lower Lake Orono. Motion unanimousily <br />carried by a vote of 3-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Qouncilmember Otto and seconded by Councilmember Toth to adjourn.
