Councilmember Duitsman ~~ll compute the revised <br />special assessments for County Auditor. Motion unanimously carried by a <br />vote of 4-0. <br /> <br />) <br /> <br />Jerry McChassney met with the City Council requesting the taring of 6th lane. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Otto and seconded by Councilmember Toth to call for a <br />preliminary Engineering report for the construction of a overlay on 6th lane. <br />Motion unanimously carried by a vote of 4-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Toth and seconded by Councilmember Otto to adopt City <br />policy that any sewermain repairs will be shared 50% by City and 50% property <br />O~Ters. City responsibility is from the main to the stub, property owners <br />responsibility is from the stub to the house. Motion unanimously carried by <br />a vote of 4-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilnember Duitsman and seconded by Councilmember Toth to adopt a <br />Resolution 7g-1 and 7g-2 as to the City policy regarding sewermains. Motion <br />unanimously carried by a vote of 4-0. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Toth and seconded by Councilmember Engstrom authorizing <br />advertisment for an assistant Plant Operator. The following bids were <br />received. Tree Removal Service of St. Paul, Minn. and AI's Tree Service, <br />Princeton, Minn. It was suggested that Ken Neleon and Terry Mack review the <br />bid5 and to report back to the Council for final awarding. <br /> <br />Phil Johnson and John Dietz representatives of the Soft Ball association met <br />with the Council regarding Governors Youth Program. Moved by Councilmember <br />Engstrom and seconded by Councilmember Duitsman to hire someone thru the <br />Governors Youth Program to work on ball diamonds and general City maintenance <br />at a minumum rate of $2.65 per hour. <br /> <br />Mr. Andrew Merry of Juran and Moody's Inc. met with the Council requesting the <br />Council's approval for Industrial Revenue Bond financing for the new East Main <br />Plaza building. Councilmember Otto suggested that the job's generated by the <br />Main Street Plaza should be considered and moved to accept the proposal. Motion <br />failed by a vote of 3-1. <br /> <br />Chuck Christian of Christian Builders, met with the Council regarding utility <br />easements. Council referred him to Anoka Electric to work out these problems. <br /> <br />Neil Larson met ~dth the Council regarding drainage easement. Mayor Madsen <br />will contact Tom Koller to have John Oliver & Associates make a survey. <br /> <br />Zack Johnson of Mateffy Engineering and David Sellergren City Attorney, will <br />draft an ordinance for the purpose of elliminating meets and bounds type of <br />plotting. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Duitsman and seconded by Councilmember Engstrom to <br />accept Charles J. Savela's resignation as oft-1ay 31, 1979. Motion unanimously <br />carried by a vote of 4-0. <br />
