Parks&Recreation Commission Minutes Page 5 <br /> • March 14,2018 <br /> Mr. Hecker shared that it will be brought back after staff is able to negotiate more details <br /> with Spectrum High School staff. <br /> Chair Anderson clarified that the commission will need to take action on closing of Lion <br /> John Weicht Park and Kliever Lake Fields outdoor ice rinks and supporting the dialogue <br /> with Spectrum High School Staff to add an outdoor ice rink at their athletic complex. <br /> 6.2 Skate Park Update <br /> Mr. Benoit shared the background of the project to the commission members and <br /> updating them on where the project is now. Stating that staff has been working on the <br /> financials with the finance staff and the next step will be to get a redesign by Spohn Ranch <br /> and then bring that back to the original group to get their input and then back to the <br /> commission. <br /> Chair Anderson asked if the Skate Park user group is aware of what is going on. <br /> Mr. Benoit shared that he has been keeping the group informed as things progress, and <br /> will be letting the group know about the redesign coming up. <br /> Commissioner Niziolek asked to make sure the redesign Skate Park will fit in the area that <br /> • has been discussed. <br /> 6.3 Parks and Recreation Commission By-laws <br /> Mr. Hecker presented his staff report. <br /> Commissioner Holmgren asked if a commission member can request of change. <br /> Mr. Hecker stated they could by adding it to the agenda. <br /> 7.
